Role
-Enterprise Server & Storage Channel Business Development Manager Regional role covering Asia Pacific region & Japan
-Responsible for driving industry’s leading Infrastructure Software portfolio with channel partners Recruit and develop key partners as enterprise software elite partners and enable them to develop a software business model for increasing profitability and new streams of revenue
-Responsible for setting software targets for key partners and establishing financial scorecard Key metrics will be overachievement of APJ revenue and software attach targets for channel
-Develop software demand generation and sales programs at region level, and work with country counterparts to get the programs executed.
-Drive installed base programs for software through channel partners and (direct route to markets) Facilitate best practices sharing from across AP countries, Americas and EMEA regions
-Drive external awareness on enterprise software value proposition within partner organizations including partner sales, presales, and business owners
-Work with regional channel teams to identify key enablers required for successful development of channel software business for FY08
-The individual’s scope includes channel RTM and will also work with services organization to drive services delivery enablement for focus partners. The individual will also be responsible for driving GTM synergy with the software organization
-Develop success stories with key partners for key categories of enterprise software portfolio Utilize regional, corporate and country product management, marketing, channel teams to support program activities. Drive alignment with cross-business units and partner business management teams to enable successful execution of the programs
-Develop into subject matter expert for infrastructure software & hardware technology Provide recommendations, direction and guidance on how to develop and grow the infrastructure software business through channels Interface at all levels within partner and customer organizations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Master’s preferred Business development experience with successful track record
-At least 8-10 years software and server marketing, business development or sales experience
